Rescheduled quarterly supervisor drop-in session which had to be cancelled due to industrial action.
Trainees, led by the trainee representative, have recently worked with Dr Chishti and the nursing team at Margaret Laurie House with management of a patient who had caused on-going clinical concerns.

Successful away-day held at Guildford Pavillion in June 2024. Well attended and well- received. ‘Get to Know You’ session, and BMA discussion in the morning. Team Building activities in the afternoon.

Career Sustainability Workshop
Breakdown of Doctors
1:1 Support
Ongoing support before, during and after the break. Includes offering a bespoke SIM session, advising respective educational supervisors and distributing local SuppoRTT toolkit.
Currently 12 LTFT trainees and 9 SuppoRTT trainees
After the positive reception for the above workshop, a second face-to-face event is planned for early next year.

First fully GMC approved Medical School in Surrey
Student Numbers for Quarter 1
Positive feedback received following a Quality Assurance visit from University of Southampton in May. The Trust was commended for providing funding for Clinical Teaching Fellows. The Educators and Administrators were praised for the warm welcome given to students as well as the comprehensive induction arrangements and Friday morning teaching provision.
After a successful meeting with the GMC on 12/06/2024, SaBP will become the main provider for clinical placements of psychiatric attachments for medical students

Eight new scenarios developed in 2023, bringing total number of scenarios to 39. Manic Episode and Functional Neurological Disorder Sim sessions held in July led by Dr Mannali and Dr Arbarbi

Long Cases
Most of the six HST’s have attended Part 1 of their EMDR training. Supervision will start in August 2024.
There will be an extra 10 Core Trainees in August 2024 for long cases.
Cambridge Guide to Psychodynamic Therapy books have been purchased and circulated to trainees. These have been very well received.
