Doctors in Training Year 2022-2023
Below shows that doctors in training for the last complete year 2022-2023 have remained fairly consistent across the rotations for the CT, GP and FY’s. However, a rise in August 2023 can be seen across all grades.
Below shows the increase over the last three years in Core Training and Higher Training posts, impacting on the requirement to also boost the number of Supervising Consultants. This trend is expected to continue.
Statutory and Mandatory Compliance Q1 2023/24
Statutory and Mandatory Training Compliance is a standing item in the Medical Education monthly meeting. Reminders are regularly sent to trainee doctors and their educational supervisors to keep them on track. Complianceis also tracked at the Closed Local Faculty Group meeting and reviewed every six months by the Locality Tutor.
